We have supplied racking for over 35 years
Some level of rack damage is inevitable in busy warehouses and it is therefore vital that such damage is repaired by highly qualified and knowledgeable installers, returning the rack to its original design criteria. Poorly specified or installed racking repairs can become the weakest point in your racking system if you don’t choose your partner carefully.
Ideally, you will already have had the rack regularly inspected by a SARI-qualified Rack Inspector, and we can work on the detail supplied within the inspection report. However, we can help you with rack damage irrespective of how it is reported, including the advice of our own internal SARI inspector. NSI Projects is obliged by the SEMA Distributor Group Audit to always ensure it has technical sign-off and traceability for any racking repairs or modifications.
We of course only use SEIRs trained and registered installation teams to undertake these repairs. NSI will also appoint a Project Manager who will personally oversee the specification and project plan for the repair, keeping you informed throughout. They will issue full risk assessment and method statement documentation, and as required by the change in the CDM Regulations in April 2015, issue you with the pre-construction plan you are now obliged to have in place regardless of the size of the installation project.
Aerosol and Explosives Cages
NSI can design and install all types of aerosol storage cages to satisfy Insurance Company and Building Control/Fire Officer requirements.
Shuttle Racking System
For clients for whom ultra-high density pallet storage is important, a shuttle racking system can be the answer. The concept is based around the fact that the forklift never enters the racking, individual pallet movements being conducted on intelligent RF guided shuttles that operate on rails millimetres below each pallet.
Racking Inspections
Racking Inspections are integral for rack safety. They are undertaken by our SARI qualified inspector to maintain H&S standards.
